After a while, focus your eyes on something far away.
- During computer work, the eyes have to constantly focus on close distances.
- Convergence has to do a lot more than usual. That is, both eyes come close to the nose and then stay that way for a long time. The eye muscles that take part in this process are under a lot of work pressure.
- Similarly, the tiny muscles of the eye that are used to focus at near things have to work harder than usual. This is called accommodation spasm.
- Due to all these unusual and unnatural engagements, the eyes come under severe pressure.
