Many surveys have been conducted and records of many hospitals have been reviewed. Similarly, computer users in various homes and offices have been interviewed to find that the majority of long-term computer users suffer from one of the following ailments. The following proportions of suffering have emerged:
- Headaches in 46% of patients.
- Eye strain and fatigue in 48% of patients.
- Eye and neck problems in 44% of patients.
- Pain in arms and legs in 28% of patients.
- Blurred vision or difficulty concentrating in 31% of patients.
- Redness, dryness in 38% of patients.
